Mitchell turns 1!

Mitchell, Kevan and Ang's son, turned one this month. So he and Aunt Kay had a picture morning. Let me tell you, it was a little crazy! Mitchell smiles really well, loves to giggle and make noises but only when someone is really close to his face. Therefore, out came the tripod and remote so I could play with him. It was going really well until I noticed he had moved out of the viewing frame when he was REALLY happy. See how it was a bit crazy? Well, even without those pictures, he sure is cute isn't he?

Katie and Carl

I recently had the honor of photographing Katie and Carl's wedding. I've know both Katie and Carl for a long time as Katie and I used to swim at my cousin's house together and Carl and I grew up in the same church. They were so fun and as you see from the photographs, had no problem practicing kissing :)

Indiana Ice

I had a last minute request to create a 3x5 foot banner for our local softball team from pictures parents had taken over the season and to take a new team picture along with individual pictures. After multiple hours in photoshop sizing each photo just right, here is the final banner. (The original file is so big it takes 10 minutes to open, so I scaled it down to low resolution for the blog.)

Family Portrait

I took our family portraits on vacation and I am so pleased! This is my family: Kevan and Ang with Mitchell and Allie is in front of my mom, Kari and Ryan with Trace and Trista is in front of my dad, my parents Ralph and Ardy, Kris and Kristen with Kade, Kamden, and Kaia, and then Jeff and I. I'm ordering Mom a 16x20 print for her living room. I can't wait to see the print in person.

Family Time in Gulf Shores, AL

We are blessed to be a family that enjoys spending time together! Just a few weeks ago, my entire family traveled to Gulf Shores, AL to vacation together for a whole week. Yes, all 17 of us in one house :) We (kids and adults too) had so much fun riding the golf cart, swimming in the pools and playing by the ocean. One day, Papa saw a pirate who gave him a treasure map, so we went on a treasure hunt. I wonder why Grandma just happened to have bandanas with her that day :). We also ventured out to see the Blue Angels practice and tour the museum. Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful vacation full of fun.
