Fun Day!

Just got back from this photo shoot with one of my best friend's children.... it was so much fun.  Here are just a few photos - I haven't even finished importing the pictures to my computer...

...and I get to hang out with these guys on Tuesday too!  I'm super excited.

Stay at home mom  (for the summer)

I'm loving my summer off.  Landon and I get to play and take a bike ride everyday.  It's so rewarding being home with him.  I pick a few jobs to complete at home each day and spend the rest of my time with him.  He is really growing lately too.  He was 18 lbs 9 oz just this week at the doctor's. 

He just started playing with his dunk 'n cheer basketball hoop.... you know, getting ready for basketball season with his daddy as the varsity coach!  Yeah, we'll be gym rats :) 

Big Eater

Landon's a pretty good eater.  He's pretty cooperative too.  This day was an exception so instead of getting all wound up about it - I decided to document it :)  He was having so much fun getting messy.

So I had to come up with a genius invention.... our beautiful high chair doesn't have a strap besides the one to hold the tabletop down....  check it out:

Yes, I know... not the best picture of Landon but if you look close, you'll see the belt!  I started with this cloth belt from a pair of capris and then I found a piece of twill tape with velcro on it so now i just velcro him to the chair.  Simple things make me happy.

Yesterday while Jeff was at the Cubs game, I took Landon to the park to do his 6 month pictures.

 Look everyone - - he sits up by himself!  SURPRISE!  He did fall over a few times... he does that mostly when he gets too excited.

Oh yes, and I'm still working on a watermark.....

Ryan's Senior Shots

Graduation is approaching..... We squeezed in Ryan's senior shots on Monday afternoon.  It was a very overcast day but a bit windy.  Ryan was super laid back and pictures were a breeze.  I tried a few different techniques on some of the proofs - yeah, I'm pretty excited about them.  These were my favorite five.  Congrats Ryan!
