What else?

What else is there to do on a snow day but enjoy my little one? It was a jammies day... until mommy wanted to take Landon's 3 month pictures. Isn't he just handsome? He is really growing. He is currently 26 inches and 14 pounds. (That's in the 95th percentile for length and 75th percentile for weight.) He loves to play in his exer-saucer, with his musical caterpillar, and with his daddy and mommy.

Silly girl with camera

I love taking my camera to school with me. January's bulletin board was "Our future's so bright we have to wear SHADES!" I know it is super corny so I decided to make it even more corny... I used my wide angle lens, stood above my students and took pictures of them wearing silly glasses. Since I don't have permission to post pictures of my sixth graders, I'll just post one of me!

Jeff is such a good Dad. He loves to play with Landon and helps all the time. Each morning Jeff gets Landon ready for the babysitter - it's so nice because I've never been a morning person. Yes, believe it or not: I like my sleep. Anyway, Jeff gets tired of me taking pictures of him and Landon, but I can't resist. They are too cute!

In case you didn't get it in the mail..... here it is. I had Eryn come over to take the picture of the three of us. It was really fun as usually I'm the one taking the pictures of her family and it was the other way around.

Getting used to the camera?

So Landon has been the victim of the camera a few times. I started taking his Christmas pictures last night....
He only cried when I first put him in the basket; I stripped him and fed him so he was happy for the rest. You'll have to wait till Christmas cards come out to see the others :)

Family of Three

Landon David arrived on Tuesday October 27, 2009. He is three weeks old today... yes, I went three weeks without posting a picture of him - CRAZY. Life has been a little crazy adjusting to being a family of three. I am amazed at how hard it is to shower daily, remember to eat breakfast or lunch, or take a little time for myself when I am focused on taking care of Landon. Today was the 6th day in a row that we have been out of the house though... today we were only gone for 15 minutes, but that still counts right? Being out of the house means that I trade my sweats for real clothes and Landon trades his bag (gown) for a sleeper or real outfit. When Mom was in Arkansas babysitting I didn't take any pictures of Landon - a whole week. So Mom was sure to have me take a few snapshots of Landon the day she returned. Enjoy!
